Taping basketball games requires a lot of camera mobility to capture fast action. The HI-POD is not only mobile, it can get you above the hoop. Once again you can place the camera along the sidelines or behind the hoop. Since basketball arenas are indoors there are space restrictions. Try getting a crane inside an arena or gymnasium to record a basketball game! The HI-POD has such a tiny profile that it doesn't block anyone's view. The HI-POD's mast diameter is only 2 inches. Setting up the unit virtually anywhere within the confines of an arena, gym, or court won't block the audience view- regardless of the sport (football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, boxing, wrestling, tennis, golf, etc).
