Now with the creation of the HI-POD, the camera can become elevated above the action, right on the sidelines. What was once a flat uninteresting shot now becomes a perspective shot, an image with depth. You can now see the play develop. With the HI-POD the viewer can tell that each player has a position on the field. Contrast this with eye-level camera work: player positions are undistinguishable from any other position. |

Football needs to be close-up! It needs a camera system that truly captures the action. The Hi-POD is the portable line of scrimmage camera. In between each play, the camera operator has enough time to pick up the lightweight HI-POD, move it to the new line of scrimmage, settle the unit and start taping again. There is nothing else as versatile as this. It is also the mobile end zone camera. Football plays move sideways as well as up and down the field. To get the best shot, you can move the HI-POD from one side of the end zone to the other. This level of versatility insures that you will get the shot you need. |
